Job Description
The primary role of an analyst/associate is to support senior investment bankers in the execution of mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions. The analyst/associate will have the primary responsibility for performing the financial analysis, research, writing and presentation preparation necessary for business development and engagement execution. Specific responsibilities will include:
- financial modeling and analysis
- valuation analysis and presentation
- industry and company research
- writing of financing and descriptive memoranda
- preparation of presentations
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, candidates must demonstrate the following:
- ability to handle significant client interaction
- strong oral and written communication skills
- strong quantitative skills
- self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
- willingness to work long hours
- extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Candidates must have excellent academic credentials along with the right enthusiasm and creativity to work in an entrepreneurial environment and "hit the ground running." Prior investment banking experience strongly preferred.

Job Description
This position will offer a rare opportunity to influence the direction of the business as we continue to grow. A successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in working with clients in various strategic and financial analyses. Bankers will have direct client responsibilities and help develop strategic initiatives to build the business. As a senior associate/VP, you must be adept at directly managing transactions, creating and delivering written/oral presentations to clients, reviewing and preparing offering documents and other sales materials, and structuring new issues.
Qualifications
Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, have strong interpersonal skills and a sense of humor, be a team player who actively contributes to the team's deal management and marketing efforts, and prefer to work in an entrepreneurial environment. Prior investment banking experience in a bulge-bracket firm strongly preferred.
