Our experienced financial advisors and wealth management team will strive to help you benefit in domestic or international equities markets. Stanford's extensive research capabilities provide specialized policy, equity and sector information for financial advisors and clients.
Equities are subject to market risk and fluctuate in value.
Taxable Fixed-Income Securities
Experienced investors know the importance of including fixed-income securities in the investment planning process. We offer a broad spectrum of fixed-income products to create custom solutions for our clients' highly individualized needs. Solutions may be found in high-yielding money market funds, federally insured certificates of deposit, U.S. and foreign government bonds, government agency bonds, or mortgage-backed offerings. Other solutions call for corporate bonds, emerging market offerings, or highly specialized, structured products. We retain the experienced professionals and the fixed-income tools necessary to assist our clients in meeting their investment objectives.
Taxable fixed-income securities may include interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and risk of default.
Tax-Free Municipal Bonds
Municipal bonds are one of the few remaining tax-advantaged investments. They are exempt from federal taxes and sometimes exempt from state and local taxes as well. At Stanford Group Company, we provide essential information and guidance to help you select from a wide range of issuers.
Income may be subject to the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) (if applicable).
Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF)
An ETF is a fund that tracks an index, but can be traded like a stock. They bundle the securities in an index, but rarely track actively managed mutual fund portfolios. ETFs are traded on stock exchanges and can be bought and sold at any time during the day. Like stocks, their prices can fluctuate at any moment. ETF advantages include low operations and transaction costs.
ETFs are subject to risks similar to those of stocks and may not be suitable for all investors. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate so that when shares are redeemed, they may be worth more or less than original cost. Frequent trading of ETFs could significantly increase costs such that they may offset any savings from low operations costs or other costs.
